Rachel Levin, a white woman with brown hair, smiling at the camera.

Hi, I’m Rachel!

I am an accessibility specialist who is passionate about inclusion, communication through multiple modalities, and empowering others to achieve their goals. I particularly enjoy addressing complex challenges and implementing systems.

In my free time, I enjoy singing, biking along Lake Michigan, and re-watching Buffy for the hundredth time.

Experience

Digital Accessibility Services Manager, Digital Accessibility Office, University of Colorado Boulder

I currently work in digital accessibility at CU Boulder, supporting instructors, staff, and students in an increasingly digital landscape. I single-handedly built and manage the team that ensures post-production captioning for the entire campus of 36,430 students. My work involves contract negotiations and ensuring legal and University policy compliance.

Instructional Technologist, Instructional Technology Group, Emerson College

While at Emerson, I troubleshot educational and technological issues that arose during the COVID-era rapid transition to remote learning. In addition to my operational responsibilities, I collaborated with the Associate Director of English Language Learning to design and implement an online version of the English Proficiency Assessment, taken by all incoming first-year international students.

Development Intern, Red Hour, Los Angeles

While at Red Hour, I welcomed clients, efficiently rolled incoming calls for executives, and evaluated potential projects through script coverage, including the Emmy Award-winning series, Severance.
